Tecplot Add-on: B-Spline

This user-contributed add-on is unsupported. Please use forums for questions and comments.

(Please let jim know if you have an add-on you'd like to share or link to.)

A B-Splines is a generalization of the Bezier curve. This add-on is an order-2 B-Spline customer curve fit.

Compatible with: Tecplot 10, Focus or 360
Macros added: none
Known limitations: There is no macro add-on.

Instructions

Download the add-on (or compile the source) and save it in $TEC360HOME/bin (or $TEC100HOME/bin)
Edit your tecplot.add file and append this line:
$!LoadAddon "bspline"
Start Tecplot

Example

Step	Picture	Description
0. Download:	bspline.lpk	This was saved in Tecplot 360 R2 format
1. Curve before		This is a set of four polynomial curve fits for a series of points.
2. Mapping Style		Here, we're selecting an extended curve fit
3. Select Extended Curve Fit
4. Curve After		Voila!

Windows	bspline.dll	Copy into $TEC360HOME/bin
N/A?	bspline.zip	Unpack and compile. If you'd like to supply us with the compiled library, I'll post it here.
