Tecplot Add-on: Tecplot LPK Viewer

This is a preview of a Tecplot viewer application. It will display Tecplot Packaged Layout (.lpk) files created from versions up to and including Tecplot 360 or Focus 2009.
  • Written by: Various
  • Compatible with: n/a - This version is Windows only. We can make Linux available if there's sufficient interest.
  • Known Limitations:
    1. Preview-quality viewer..
    2. Loads only packaged layout files
    3. Operations are limited to zoom, rotate, pan.
  • Instructions:
    1. Download the appropriate zip file below
    2. Extract its contents into a directory.
    3. Run "viewer"
    4. Tell me what you think.

    Note: Tecplot 2009 has an option to File → Export → "Viewer Format" version of the LPK file. This is a lot smaller (as much as 95%). The size reduction is achieved by removing extraneous information.
