Loading information

Hi,

I just developed a data converter AddOn. For a huge data amount, the conversion may take a while and I would like to use the bottom bar in the tecplot window to add some informations about the loading process. Is this possible and how to do it?

Hi Regina,

These functions will be useful:

TecUtilStatusStartPercentDone
TecUtilStatusCheckPercentDone
TecUtilStatusFinishPercentDone
TecUtilStatusSetPercentDoneText

If you are targeting Tecplot 360, then writing a data loader that supports load on demand will probably provide a much better user experience (although it does take more work on your part).

I thought about writing a data loader, but I don't have enough time to do it, actually.
