issues loading data

Postby Monstrobolaxa » Thu Jul 30, 2015 1:18 pm

I'm struggling to import data and have the zone separated.

To reduce the amount of data I take from Fluent I export data for planes and surfaces I require, then I load the data using the tecplot loader.

Previously when the data is loaded I get all the planes and surfaces set as an individual zone. But now it's all showing up as a single zone (in zone style) and I can't figure out what to do. I can only have a all the planes/surfaces or nothing...can't just show the planes or surfaces I need.

When I go to Data Set Info all the zones are individually listed...

How do I get them to be set individually in the zone style section?

Hello Monstrobolaxa,

It sounds like Tecplot is loading the data as transient. To break the time dependence, you can go to Data > Edit Time Strands. Set Time Strands to 0, select all of your zones and then hit apply. You should now notice that all of the zones show up separately in the Zone Style Dialog.
